Smartstop

For Smartstop we developed a number of internal solutions, including a bespoke two-form authentication and authorization system that, for security reasons we are unable to discuss in depth, have proved incredibly efficient at preventing intruders; it has rendered brute-force attacks nigh impossible and allowed revoking a user’s credentials (even one that is active on the system at the time of the revocation) to be immediate and absolute.

As well as working with Smartstop on their internal infrastructure (which also included document and research collaboration tools and secure instant messaging) we also consulted with them regarding other projects and this lead to us developing their flagship product and completing all IT work involved to complete two, highly sensitive Ministry of Defence contracts in the areas of disaster prevention and anti-terrorism.

Smartstop also had some side projects active, one included a digital marine compass for the Android mobile operating system. We developed this product within a matter of days to a quality which, we believe, surpasses the other digital compasses available for the platform. The magnetic field sensor inside most mobile phones are highly sensitive, so with a combination of intelligent design, strong maths skills and tips to help educate the end-users, we were able to develop a stable product.
